Jet Gas Compressors/Ventilators

Jet Gas Compressors/Ventilators

In many fields such as energy, chemical industry, environmental protection, mining, etc., there is a demand for transportation and compression of specific gases.

Ejectors for gas transportation and compression can be divided into two types according to the power fluids: gas-powered ejectors and liquid-powered ejectors.

Gas-powered ejectors use high-pressure gas as power to pump low-pressure gas, mix it into medium-pressure gas, then discharge it to the downstream process. Its typical applications include high-pressure steam recovery of exhaust steam, low-pressure natural gas recovery, etc.

Liquid-powered ejectors use high-pressure liquid as power to transport/compress low-pressure gas to its downstream process. Its typical applications include mine ventilation (no explosion hazard and can also cool and remove dust), air flotation compressor, etc.

Jet Gas Compressors/Ventilators Application

Gas Evacuation

In many industries and civil practices there are needs to evacuate gas from hermetic space. Priming of centrifugal pump with LJG eductor is one of the various uses. The volume being primed are generally small, so a small quantity of fluid(pressurized water/air)can be applied as motive flow of the eductor GW LJG eductor is also a safe option where it is dangerous to use power driven exhaust.

Maintaining Pressure

Some apparatus need to keep their internal pressure within a certain extend during operation. meanwhile, there is gas produced or entrained during the process. in this case, GW LJG can be utilized to exhaust gas and keep the pressure at the expected value, The above figure shows an example which is a MBR apparatus for wastewater treatment: When pressure rises in the gas-water separator, a differential pressure signal is given to a motive flow valve which automatically opens and the LJG eductor is activated to draw gas from the separator until the pressure drops to the minus desired point. This configuration not only saves space and investment but also energy since the driving fluid sources(pressure air/water)are always available on-site.
