Where to put the venturi injector in an ozone system?

In a jet ozone dosing system, the venturi injector is the primary mixing element and is normally installed outside the tank on the circulating-water loop, between the motive pump discharge and the secondary nozzles / contact zone. Ozone is drawn at the injector suction port; the ozone–water mixture is then conveyed by pipe to efficiency-plus nozzles at the tank bottom for secondary transfer.

Typical PID roles

1 — Oxygen source system (feed gas for ozone generator)

2 — Motive / circulating water pump

3 — Venturi injector (primary injection, outside the tank)

4 — Efficiency-plus nozzles (secondary ejection, at tank bottom)
