Venturi Ejector Maintenance
Materials and Performance
Made of stainless steel, the ejector has strong resistance to corrosion, wear, pressure and oxidation.
Ejector Maintenance
- The maintenance cycle of the Venturi ejector should match the maintenance cycle of the water pump. Inspect and service the ejector each time the water pump is repaired.
- Check whether the ejector inlet is blocked and whether deposits or corrosion are present on the pipe wall. These conditions can affect the ejector's jetting capacity. Clean with fresh water or acid using a brush to keep performance stable and extend service life.
Ejector Troubleshooting
- If the ejector is damaged, such as cracks caused by excessive tensile force or torque, replace the ejector.
- The ejector itself does not generate a pressure difference. It works through pressure loss created as the driving flow passes through the ejector and pipeline, forming the pressure difference required for operation. If the ejector does not work normally, adjust the installation position as needed to meet the required pressure difference. Pressure gauges are generally recommended at the ejector inlet and outlet for measurement.
- When the ejector inlet pressure is low and the pressure difference between inlet and outlet is insufficient, increase the pump head or add a booster pump.
- If the driving water flow is insufficient, check whether the actual pump differs from the design, whether an old pump is being used, or whether the pump is damaged. Repair or replace the pump as needed.
- If the inlet and outlet connecting pipes matched with the ejector are too small, replace them with pipes consistent with the ejector inlet and outlet.
- If the ejector connecting pipeline is blocked, remove the blockage.
- If the selected ejector model is too large, change to an ejector requiring a smaller driving water flow.
- If the ejector air suction pipeline is dirty or blocked, purge it clean and remove the blockage.
- Long-term operation in water can produce sediment and scale inside the ejector, changing internal dimensions and reducing air suction capacity. If scale is present, soak the ejector in 30% hydrochloric acid for 30 minutes, clean it thoroughly, and then rinse with fresh water.
